secondarily against Samssung


Since 1996, with the launch of the Model 9000 Communicator, Nokia has consistently maintained  the first position in world sales of mobile devices, relyingmainly on products with high mechanical strength and low cost.


But conditions were changing and his rivals were getting closer and closer,gradually capturing portions of certain sectors of the market that Nokia neglectedor failed to capture properly.


Nokia now estimates the declining sales getting to 83 million, while Samsungclaims to have a record quarter. Is enough that he has sold the same amount ofequipment that the last quarter with all the successful family of Galaxy devices with Android so after half a decade and has become the biggets mobile phone manufacturer in the world.


Samsung sold 300 million phones in 2011, and expects to reach 380 million this year to the end of the month, when they have the official numbers of both companies, will know if there was efectively a castling positions.


In my opinion, purely personal, with the release of Android, Nokia had a strongopponent and failed to address it. For me the best mobile devices on the market are Samsung, because they are cheap and good at the same time. I add myopinion that in these last 3 years (maybe) Samsung started to have a growth that no one could avoid, and this not only in mobile phone technology
